After the successful debut of the race last October, with nearly 1,500 participants enjoying the event’s premiere, the 15K Formentera Sunset Run has already announced the official date for its second edition: it will take place on October 11, 2025. With no changes to its date or format, the Balearic race will repeat the formula of this first edition, which received such positive feedback from the participating runners.

Organized by Talentum with the support of the Consell Insular de Formentera, the 15K was launched this year with the firm intention of becoming a landmark event in the national running calendar. Therefore, in addition to offering two different distance categories (15 kilometers and 5 kilometers), the event aims to provide a comprehensive experience for participants to make the most of the weekend. As part of the event, a guided yoga class was offered on Saturday and a brunch at the Fandango restaurant on Sunday, by the sea.

The appeal of the 15K Formentera Sunset Run beyond the Balearic Islands is a fact. The numbers speak for themselves: over 20% of the participants in the first edition came from abroad. There’s no doubt that Formentera is one of the most desired tourist destinations throughout the year, thanks to its stable and mild climate that allows it to welcome visitors in any season and host a wide range of activities.
