The 15K Formentera Night Run arrives in Florence. After kicking off its international promotion at the TCS Amsterdam, the Balearic race has landed at the Firenze Marathon Expo, a key event in the Italian sports calendar with 17,000 athletes taking part. The perfect setting to showcase the lesser-known side of the island of Formentera: sports tourism.

Internationally recognized sporting event
The 15K Formentera Night Run brought together more than 20% international runners in its first edition. Furthermore, Italy, after Spain, was the country with the most participants, making it one of the main markets for the event.

This is why the Firenze Marathon has been selected as one of the key races within the promotional campaign for the 2025 edition, contributing to the progressive growth of the number of participants from outside Spain.
